Globe Versus Smart: Who Provides Better Mobile Data Services?

It looks the country’s largest telecommunication companies are working double time before the third telco sweeps in and starts offering services to the public, as both Globe and Smart were found to be providing better than historically recorded mobile data services, according to a report.
In its report titled “State of Mobile Network Experience” published on March 5, mobile operator analyst OpenSignal revealed both Globe Telecom and Smart Communications now have 4G availability scores greater than 70 percent, meaning users can now access LTE signal seven out of 10 times, a sign of a mature LTE rollout.
